Prayer to St. Michael
Join us in our St. Michael the Archangel Prayer Campaign, reciting the prayer daily, which John Paul II had at appealed to all Catholics to pray to St. Michael. In the Spring of 1994, during the International Year of the Family, Pope John Paul II recommended that the prayer to St. Michael the Archangel be prayed daily by all Catholics. He said, "I ask everyone not to forget it and to recite it to obtain help in the battle against forces of darkness and against the spirit of this world." This was in response to the grave evils we see in our world today - the sins of abortion, euthanasia, fornication, child abuse and attacks on the family, marriage and the Catholic Church. The campaign is across Canada & U.S. and we all ask everyone to join with us, through your parishes and parish groups by distributing the St. Michael prayer cards.Prayer for the Faithful Departed

May 2017 marked the centennial of Our Lady’s first apparition to the three shepherd children in Portugal, here is our prayer card from St. Joseph’s Workers, with the devotion to the Rosary. As you may already know, Our Lady on many occasions during these apparitions, She beseeched to the children to pray the Rosary daily and also taught them to recite after each decade: “Oh My Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Your Mercy." Adoption
To help stop the anti-life push in the world at that time, the late Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen encouraged the spiritual adoption of an unborn baby. This is done by praying that one particular but unknown child's life will be spared from abortion and allowed to continue to live. To help accomplish this, it was recommended that an individual say the daily prayer for a period of nine months. The bookmark size (2 x 6) Prayer for the Unborn prayer cards are FREE, but we do charge Shipping & Handling (S&H) fee. St. Gertrude the Great was a 13th-century German nun, writer, and mystic who was graced with many heavenly visions, including being one of the earliest mystics to whom Jesus encouraged devotion to his Sacred Heart. It is recounted that Jesus showed her a vast number of souls entering heaven from purgatory due to her faithful and frequent recitation of this prayer.

The chaplet may be repeated over a period of nine days as part of a novena. According to Faustina’s Diary. Jesus himself in a vision asked that the Divine Mercy Novena be prayed as a preparation for the Feast of the Divine Mercy Sunday, celebrated each year on the first Sunday after Easter. The novena should begin on Good Friday. There is a prayer intention for specific group of people on each of the nine days. Get these for your group or parish.
